Canyon of Martvili

Martvili Canyon Natural Monument is located 45 kilometers from Kutaisi in the village Inchkhuri, near Martvili.

Taking walking or boat tours at Martvili Canyon you can explore the Dadianis’ Path, mountain river gorge, limestone natural bridges, overview platforms, waterfalls, XIX century water mill, fossil shells of nautiluses and sea urchins.

Tourist season at Martvili Canyon lasts all year around, hot season is from April to October

Canyon of okatse

Okatse Canyon Natural Monument is located 42 kilometers from Kutaisi in village Gordi, Khoni municipality, Imereti region.

Okatse Canyon 2-3 hour pedestrian route passes through Dadiani historical forest, 780 m length hanging trail and finishes with panoramic view, where visitors can take memorable photos by “Smart Selfie” Camera.

At Okatse canyon you can explore 3 cascade Okatse waterfall, the Dadiani forest and river Satsiskvilo valley. Tourist season lasts all year around. High Season is from April to November

Waterfall of Kinchkha

    One of the tallest waterfall of Georgia – Kinchkha together with another water abundant waterfall nearby, Okatse Canyon natural monument (just a few km from Kinchkha in Gordi village) with recently built high quality tourist infrastructure – stairs, footpaths offering magnificent views to the canyon and its surroundings make a nice day out in the nature especially in spring when water levels are high and nature is in blossom with flowers all around and smell of yellow azalea and with still snowed Askhi Pleatau ; Also in summer when you can swim, relax or just find a really cool place for picnic and to taste some homemade Georgian wine with locals.

Dadiani palace

    Dadiani palace is in downtown Zugdidi. This historical palace and now museum was the residence of Dadiani family - potentates of Samegrelo. The residence of the sovereign was first built by the ruler of Odishi, Levan II Dadiani.

The museum of Dadiani palace is the oldest in Georgia. David Dadiani founded personal museum back in 1839 with archeological, numismatic, military and ethnographic rooms. There are more than 40 000 exhibits in the museum today.

Nokalakevi

    Nokalakevi was a political center of Colchis (Egrisi) in Antique and early Christian times, the capital of the Kingdom of Lazika (IV-VIII cc.). lt is located on the left bank of riverTekhuri, 17 km from the town of Senaki to the North-East. According to the history tradition, the fortress town was first built by Egrisi Eristavi (Duke) Kuji (IV-II cc. BC). The old name of the township - Tsikhegoji (Fortress of Kuji) - is related to him. The Greek sources of later times call this township Archeopolis (in Georgian - Nokalakevi or Old Town, or 'remnants of town'). Nokalakevi is surrounded by a fence having 3 km length. Its area is a territory of 19 ha and consists of 3 parts: Lower Town, middle fortress and citadel.
